1. Gothic ambit with garden

Arched rectangular corridors with arcades open into a spacious courtyard with a garden. In this "Garden of Eden" the members of the Minorite Order found peace, observed nature and contemplated.

2. Romanesque cellars

One of the oldest parts of the monastery, where treasures from the basilica were hidden in times of danger.

3. Hall of John Lucembourg

John of Luxembourg Hall, named after the famous Czech king and husband of Elisabeth of the Premyslids. 

4. Coronation Hall

The Summer Refectory, now called the Coronation Hall, is one of the other most important places in the Minorite Monastery. 

5. Monastery lounges

The oldest known cipher is used in the Minorite code game

Traces of history echo through the game — for example, in the music lounge, you’ll come across the discarded pipes of the organ once used in the adjacent St. James Basilica.
