LIST OF TASKS

Minorite Code

Perhaps you didn't manage to capture all the details of your hunt for the Message of the Minor Monastery. Below you will find all the magical places of this game.

1. Gothic ambit with garden

Arched rectangular corridors with arcades open into a spacious courtyard with a garden. In this "Garden of Eden" the members of the Minorite Order found peace, observed nature and contemplated.

Walk through the garden according to the manuscript leaf on the right path like they did. Whenever you find the "cross of the order" in the garden, it also hides a number "in the figure".

Each figure is inscribed in a polyhedron.

The number of its faces is different. The sum of all the edges of all the polyhedrons will give the desired result.

Manuscript sheet

The characters found along the way in the patterns by the number of edges/pages give these numbers:
3+3+3-9+4+8+3+10.
The patterns by the trees and the well are themselves polyhedra.

2. Romanesque cellars

One of the oldest parts of the monastery, where treasures from the basilica were hidden in times of danger.

3. Hortus Angelicus garden

The Hortus Angelicus (Garden of the Angels) is an enclosed, mysterious monastery courtyard hidden behind the walls of the historic complex. This mystical place with medicinal herbs was used by the monks for meditation and for growing herbs for monastic medicine, such as sage, common buckthorn, goosefoot, and pilate, as well as mandrake.
Mandrake is a mysterious plant with a thick root resembling a human figure, shrouded in medieval legends of magical and healing powers.
In the year (1360) at the court of Charles IV in Prague lives, among others, his personal apothecary, the imperial apothecary Francesco Angelo of Florence. The garden bears the name Hortus Angelicus after its founder..

The mysterious mandrake plant can be visually identified by its root and leaves. The labels on the information board opposite the entrance to the garden are also helpful.

Historical sources indicate that the wedding feast of John of Lucembourg and Elisabeth of the Premyslids. took place here.
In its time, this hall was the largest in Prague

6. Lounge of Elisabeth of the Premyslids

St. James is the patron saint of the butchers who have protected the Minorite Monastery many times. In 1611, for example, the butchers became famous for their bravery. In that year, a dispute arose between King Rudolf II and his brother Matthias. The mercenaries of Passau, who had been summoned by Rudolf II, invaded Prague and a fierce struggle with the people and supporters of Matthias began. The agitated people again threatened the monastery of St. James, believing that the mercenaries of Passau had taken refuge there. The religious of the Order of the Lesser St. Francis had to flee to the butchers. They waited for nothing and defended the monastery with axes in their hands. Since then, the monks have always hosted the butchers in the old hall of the Elisabeth of the Premyslids on St. James and St. Anne's Day. Traditions were honored at this festival. The elder of the guild sat in the place of honour, with the keys of the monastery on a cushion on the table in front of him. On this solemn occasion, the representative of the monastery addressed the butchers and asked them a question: "Are you ready to take up arms on this occasion to protect our monastery?", "Yes", replied the butchers, "We are ready to sacrifice our blood for your monastery and temple".

Task in the game

We contacted the archivist and from his reports we found out more details about the continuation of the play on the 1st floor of the monastery.

7. Coronation Hall (1.floor)

The Summer Refectory, now called the Coronation Hall, is one of the other most important places in the Minorite Monastery. It is said to be the largest in European monasteries and unique for its balcony.
The St. Bonaventure Theological College was probably established in these premises in 1622, which was used for theological studies and later for students of Charles University.
In 1818, when the National Museum was founded as the Patriotic Museum, the first collections were gathered in the Minorite Monastery in Prague. The summer refectory of the monastery served as a temporary depository for the collections, which at that time consisted of various artefacts.

EQUILIBRIUM

Secret Minorite Code

You have uncovered the ultimate secret - the message that the Minorites have guarded for centuries is nothing less than EQUILIBRITY. But it is not a mere balance of power, but a profound law of existence that determines whether humanity survives or perishes.

Balance is a delicate dance between opposites, an endless search for the centre in the chaos of existence. Today's world is rushing to extremes: technology connects us but isolates our hearts. We have access to infinite information, but we lose wisdom. We accumulate wealth, but forget its meaning.

So - it's not about changing the environment, it's about changing yourself. Because balance is not weakness - it is the highest form of strength.

Now, you know the message and you become its guardians. Your experience in the game was no accident. It was training for real life. From now on, you have a choice. Will you embrace the wisdom of the Minorites and begin to shape the future reality?

The medieval Franciscans, inspired by the radical ideal of Saint Francis of Assisi, sought balance where most people did not expect it - between poverty and wealth, between solitude and community, between prayer and action. Their life was not an escape from the world, but a thoughtful response to its uprootedness. At a time when the Church was growing rich and secular power was corrupting, they showed that true freedom lay not in possessions but in the courage to have nothing and yet feel that nothing was lacking.

Dear player, if you enjoyed my catches, learned something along the way and had some fun, I'd be glad if you share your opinion with other players.
